The authors investigate the problem of constructing optimal quadrature formulae in the sense of Sard in the space \(L^{(m)}_{2}(0,1)\). Using \textit{S. L. Sobolev} and \textit{V. L. Vaskevich}'s method in [The theory of cubature formulas. Dordrecht: Kluwer Academic Publishers (1997; Zbl 0877.65009)], they obtain the coefficients and the norm of the optimal error functional for this quadrature formulas, for any \(m\geq 2\). Some numerical results and particular cases are given.
