The author first defines the space of S-asymptotically \(\omega\)-periodic functions in the sense of Stepanov. The properties of such functions are investigated. Next, the existence of S-asymptotically \(\omega\)-periodic mild solutions to classes of abstract first-order linear and semi-linear differential equations is established. Finally, the abstract theory is illustrated by an application to partial differential equations.
