Assouad dimensions of Moran sets (Q1942069)

This article examines the relation between various notions of dimension for a class of fractals called Moran sets. The class of Moran sets is rather wide and includes many sets that are not Ahlfors regular. In particular, their Hausdorff dimension is in general strictly less than the packing dimension and the upper box dimension. However, the latter two coincide due to the results of \textit{S. Hua}, \textit{H. Rao, Z. Wen} and \textit{J. Wu} [Sci. China, Ser. A 43, No. 8, 836--852 (2000; Zbl 0976.28002)]. The author shows that the Assouad dimension of a Moran set agrees with its packing dimension and the upper box dimension.
