The authors study the motion of one-dimensional graphs under anisotropic non-convex mean curvature flow regularized via a Willmore term. Rigorous analytical results for the stationary case is presented. The evolution problem will the regularization parameter tending to zero is studied. Numerical simulations of the time-dependent problem using discretization by finite elements and semi-implicit scheme are also presented.
