To calculate the derivative of operator-valued exponents, Feynman derived a special formula connecting the derivative of a function and its left derivative. In order to calculate the derivative of a family of Hermitian matrices, the authors consider the special Cauchy problem for set operator-valued ODEs. The uniqueness problem is discussed separately.
