Profinite \(G\)-spectra (Q1952568)

The author constructs a stable model structure on the category of profinite \(G\)-spectra, where \(G\) is a profinite group. The main result says that if \(G\) is finitely generated then every \(G\)-spectrum with finite homotopy groups has a concrete model in the category of profinite \(G\)-spectra. This result is applied in [the author, Homology Homotopy Appl. 15, No. 1, 191--222 (2013; Zbl 1278.55018)] to the continuous homotopy fixed points for Lubin-Tate spectra. The author also gives a comparison functor between profinite spectra and pro-spectra.
