Summary: We present some sufficient conditions on the convergence of the accelerated overrelaxation (AOR) method for solving \(Ax = b\) with \(A\) being a strictly doubly \(\alpha\) diagonally dominant matrix. Moreover, we give two numerical examples to show the advantage of the new results.
