Summary: The recent theory and applications of difference operator \(\Delta_L\) introduced by \textit{M. M. Susai Manuel} et al. [Demonstr. Math. 45, No. 1, 95--106 (2012; Zbl 1260.39028)] are enriched and extended with a useful tool \(\Delta^{-m}_\ell[k^{(n)}_\ell e^{-k}]||^k_{(m-1)\ell + j}\) for finding the values of various series of discrete gamma functions in number theory. Illustrative examples show the effectiveness of the obtained results in finding the values of various gamma series.
