Cohomology of Kac-Moody groups over a finite field. (Q1954180)

Let \(p\) be an odd prime and \(k\) a finite field of characteristic different from \(p\). Under certain restrictions specified in the paper, the authors explicitly describe the cohomology algebra \(H^ \ast (BG_ \mathcal D(k); \mathbb F_ p)\), where \(G_ \mathcal D(k)\) is a discrete infinite Kac-Moody group of rank two over the field \(k\), and \(BG_ \mathcal D(k)\) is its classifying space. In their calculations of \(H^ \ast (BG_ \mathcal D(k); \mathbb F_ p)\), the authors use the root system, the parabolic subgroups, and the Lévi subgroups of \(G_ \mathcal D(k)\).
