The authors study the stability of Richardson extrapolation applied together with the \(\theta\)-method. Important properties of Richardson extrapolation are studied. A theorem related to the stability of the computational process and the accuracy of the results were formulated and proved. Numerical experiments are carried out to demonstrate the improvement of accuracy and other theories mentioned.
