The authors investigate fast reaction, fast diffusion and fast-reaction-fast-diffusion limits for a reaction-diffusion equation involving the Leray-Lions operator. In the case of the fast-reaction limit, the authors are able to study the large-time behaviour of the solution of the obstacle problem to characterize the initial data for the limit problem.
