In a class of models of quantized boson fields introduced by the first two authors [J. Funct. Anal. 151, No. 2, 455-503 (1997; Zbl 0898.47048)] the absence of point spectrum of the Hamiltonians in the models without infrared cutoff but with ultraviolet cutoff are established under certain sets of assumptions.
