The author studies the topology of the momentum mapping of completely integrable Hamiltonian systems. It is shown that all regular critical points of the momentum mapping of a Jacobi-Moser-Mumford system are nondegenerate, that is, satisfy the Bott condition. Two examples of Bott systems are considered -- the Lagrange top and the Gel'fand-Dikii systems.
