The paper gives a direct proof of the well-known characterization of constant Poisson structures in terms skew-symmetric matrices. A model of a non-canonical Poisson dynamics is also presented and its properties are discussed as well as the connection between the Hamilton-Poisson systems and their corresponding weighted Euler integrators. Some geometrical and dynamical properties are pointed out.
