A controlled Markov process with a finite number of states is used as a model of an ecological system. It is assumed that one of the states of the system is considered as an absorbing state. Existence of the optimal strategy for transition of the states is proved. For a finite interval of the planning time some optimal solutions of the problem of maximization of inputs (until the moment of the absorbtion) are found.
