An infinite-particle process of inhibitions is analyzed in the spatially non-homogeneous case (i.e., if the interactions depend on the current state on the net). Ergodicity of an infinite neural network with weak local inhibitory connections is established and the exponential rate of convergence for the associated Markov process is obtained. The proof is based on the method of cluster expansions combined with certain parameter scaling.
