The charts which contain several subcharts that have different \(y\)-axes but common \(x\)-axis (e.g. the time of observation) are usual in visualization of economic data. In the German Central Bank publications such subcharts are plotted one over another in some ``condensed'' manner in order to save space. The author propose an algorithm for automatic choice of the subcharts positions in the picture. The algorithm is applied to the semilogarithm charts plotting.
