Discriminant and cluster analysis (Q1965966)

Results of cross-validated feature selection allow us to give meaningful clues about the importance of different groups of variables. Results of cluster analysis confirm the outcomes of discrimination and indicate that better criteria for the definition of group-membership could improve the goodness of discrimination. The results of discrimination and cluster analysis give some indication of the structure of the data, nevertheless a lot of questions remains open.
