The author proves that the cobordism of a topological space as well as the bordism of an \(E_\infty\)-space are Hopf algebras over some bialgebra. In particular, the action of this algebra determines the Steenrod operations on cobordism and the Dyer-Lashof operations on bordism of topological spaces. This short note is a partial extension of the author's paper [Russ. Acad. Sci., Izv., Math. 40, No. 2, 425-442 (1993); translation from Izv. Ross. Akad. Nauk, Ser. Mat. 56, No. 2, 449-468 (1992; Zbl 0766.55012)].
