The equivalence of the raising and lowering operators derived from the factorization of the radial Schrödinger equation and the conserved quantities responsible for the closeness of classical orbits for hydrogen atoms and isotropic harmonic oscillators is physically connected with the dynamical symmetry, in reply to the comment by \textit{A. A. Stahlhofen} [ibid. 241, 298-299 (1998; Zbl 1052.81672)].
