Certain considerations about the pseudoinverse of matrices and their application to modeling and control problems, introduced by \textit{N. F. Kirichenko} [Probl. Upravlen, Inf. 1, 114-127 (1995); Cybern. Syst. Anal. 33, No. 2, 230-238 (1997), translation from Kibern. Sist. Anal. 1997, No. 2, 98-107 (1997; Zbl 0906.15003)], are supplemented. In particular a gradient procedure for improvements of pseudosolutions is given and discussed.
