This work examines in which situations the Green function of a biharmonic Dirichlet problem (as it appears as equation of clamped-plate type) is sign-preserving. For the second-order Laplace problem, the authors prove that the positivity-preserving property holds for every domain in the \(n\)-dimensional Euclidean space.
