The author constructs a refinable compactly supported function vector which is biorthogonal to the vector of B-splines of given degree with multiple integer knots. This construction is based on Hermite-type interpolatory subdivision schemes, and the relation between B-splines and divided differences. First, the author proves the biorthogonality property and then the refinability property. The special (scalar) case of B-splines with simple knots is treated separately.
