Generalized Weierstrass representation for surfaces in terms of Dirac-Hestenes spinor field (Q1970235)

A relation between a generalized Weierstrass representation for immersions of generic surfaces into a four-dimensional complex space and a Dirac-Hestenes spinor field defined on Minkowski space is presented. At the end of the paper integrable deformations of surfaces defined by a modified Veselov-Novikov equation and their relation with integrable deformations of Dirac fields on the surface are discussed.
