Basically the paper describes C++ class definitions for finite element method code with the \(p\)-method, while retaining FORTRAN for arithmetic kernels, for distributed memory parallel computers with MPI message passing. Parallelization is for subdomains with Schur complement, different strategies for the final solution of the global Schur complement. Some numerical examples demonstrate the (partly limited) scalability.
