The authors consider a hybrid dynamical system, called switched server system which consists of one server and an arbitrary number of buffers. It is shown that the state space of this system can be partitioned into a set of polytopes such that each of them is invariant and contains one periodic trajectory. Moreover, this trajectory is the attractor for all other trajectories emanating from the same polytope.
