The classical symmetric domain of type IV is the Hermitian symmetric space associated with the split orthogonal group \(O(2,n+2)\). In this case, \textit{V. A. Gritsenko} [J. Sov. Math. 53, 243-252 (1991; Zbl 0732.11022)] constructed an arithmetic lifting from the space of Jacobi forms on \({\mathcal H}\times \mathbb{C}^n\) to automorphic forms on \(O(2,n+2)\), which generalizes the Maaß lift in the case \(n=1\). On the other hand, Looijenga and K. Saito introduced an expansion of the symmetric domain of type IV. In the paper under review, the author describes the Maaß lift from expanded Jacobi forms to automorphic forms on the expanded domain in terms of formal power series.
