Correction to: ``The cohomology of a Coxeter group with group ring coefficients'' (Q1974872)

In Remark 5.8 on pages 309-310 of [\textit{M. W. Davis}, ibid. 91, No. 2, 297-314 (1998; see the preceding review Zbl 0995.20022)], the author states, ``It follows easily from Theorem A that if \(L(W,S)\) is a Cohen-Macaulay complex of dimension \((n-1)\), then \(W\) is a virtual duality group of dimension \(n\)''. Here the author shows that a further hypothesis is required for \(L(W,S)\), for \(W\) to be a virtual duality group of dimension \(n\). Moreover, he gives an example showing that not every Cohen-Macaulay complex satisfies the further hypothesis.
