The authors describe the physical processes, mathematical models, numerical methods, and possibilities of the KARMA-1 program complex for solving time-dependent problems of monocrystal growth by the Bridgman-Stockbarger, traveling-heater, and floating-zone melting methods for multi-component media. The processes are considered in constant and rotating magnetic fields, and in the case when an electric current passes through the melt. On the boundary of the domain, either boundary conditions of the first kind, or the conditions of thermal-radiation heat interchange with the heating chamber, are set; on the interphase, a functional relation between the temperature and admixture concentration is given.
