The main purpose of this paper is to establish the boundary conditions for the radiative heat exchange between an opaque ampoule container and a heating chamber of fixed temperature in which the ampoule moves. The boundary conditions take into account the geometry of the domain and multiple reflections of light (the surfaces are assumed to be diffuse, and the blackness coefficients depend only on temperature). For monocrystal growth from melts in ampoules by Bridgman's method, the formulation of boundary conditions on the surface of the melt is considered for both closed and open ampoules.
