The author introduces and studies a class of functions defined on \(C{\times}{\mathbb R}^2\) (where \(C\) is a Clifford algebra) with values in \(C{\times}{\mathbb R}\) that he calls ``hyperbolic analytic functions'' because of their analogy with complex analytic functions. He considers some examples and as applications proves some formulae for these functions.
