The authors use a monotonic implicit finite-difference scheme to develop a numerical method for three-dimensional steady flows of steam undergoing nonequilibrium phase transitions. The potential of the method is demonstrated by computing spontaneously condensing steam flows in the guides and rotors of steam turbines. The results obtained are compared with experimental findings presented elsewhere.
