This work aims at modelling steel casting. To facilitate this process and to prevent the molten steel from sticking to the mould wall, the mould wall oscillates vertically, and mould powder is added at the top of the mould. This implementation causes the flux flow between the mould wall and the casting surface. The paper investigates this flux flow numerically.
