This note examines the existence of non-radiating surface wave near a body moving in fluid. For fluid-plate interacticn, this is the so-called Stoneley-Scholte wave. Here, by using the Kennard model, the authors prove the existence of an axisymmetric nonradiating surface wave propagating along a cylindrical shell submersed in fluid.
