Let \(G\) be the finite symplectic group \(\text{Sp}_6(q)\), where \(q=2^a\) is a power of \(2\), and let \(\ell\) be an odd prime dividing \(|G|\). With the aid of the computer package CHEVIE, the author determines the \(\ell\)-decomposition numbers of the unipotent blocks of \(G\), up to three parameters in the decomposition matrix of one block.
