Perturbed type random Cantor set (Q1978857)

\textit{K. Falconer} in his book ``Fractal geometry: mathematical foundations and applications'' (1990; Zbl 0689.28003) studied random fractals. The authors in the paper investigate a perturbed type random Cantor set under slightly different definition than that of \textit{Falconer.} The aim is to evaluate the Hausdorff dimension. Using the technique of a game fairer with time they obtain a lower and an upper bound and the conditions under which these bounds coincide almost surely.
