A two-dimensional subset is ``Chebyshev'' if its projection (projection of each of its points) is always exactly one point whenever the projection is metric. The author begins therefore with a metric space and studies when certain sets are Chebyshev. The main result is a characterisation of sets that are Chebyshev.
