The authors propose a multigrid-GMRES solver for solving large scale linear systems resulting from isogeometric analysis (IgA) approximation in space and a discontinuous Galerkin (DG) discretization in time for the diffusion equation. The advantages of the proposed solver is validated through numerical experiments in terms of iteration count, run-time and parallel scaling by comparing with other benchmark solvers. The solver does not depend on the domain or the space-time discretization, and it is therefore highly flexible. It can be applied to other space-time discretizations with tensor-product structure between space and time.
