Another note on precompact uniform frames (Q1985658)

General filters in pointfree topology are studied in detail in [\textit{B. Banaschewski} and \textit{S. S. Hong}, Kyungpook Math. J. 42, No. 2, 273--283 (2002; Zbl 1029.06005)]. In the paper under review, the authors revisit this notion and define, as in the case of classical filters, what it means to say that a general filter clusters and what it means to say that it is maximal. They use these notions to characterize certain types of frames and uniform frames.
