This work is devoted to the study of the exterior problem for a discrete 2D Helmholtz equation with Dirichlet boundary conditions. Existence and uniqueness of a radiating solution for a set of real wave numbers is obtained. A representation formula for the solution upon a unique solution of a system of linear equations (involving the lattice Green's function) is also obtained. Numerical evaluations are included.
