The authors prove several multiplicity results for the periodic problem associated to second order scalar differential equations of the type \[ x''=a(t)x+b(t)x^2+c(t)x^3. \] They use bifurcation results, including Malkin functions and a theorem by the reviewer jointly with Marco Sabatini and Fabio Zanolin.
