On a system of equations for the normal fluid-condensate interaction in a Bose gas (Q2007967)

This work provides a mathematical view on a system of two integro-differential equations, which is motivated by the physical model for a weakly interacting dilute gas of bosons. It operates with the condensate density (taken as small) and the distribution function for a spatially homogeneous, weakly interacting gas. The main result is in proving the existence of weak radial solutions for the Cauchy problem associated with the system considered.
