Global dynamics of discrete dynamical systems and difference equations (Q2011051)

In this survey, the author presents new approaches to the investigation of the global dynamics of discrete dynamical systems and autonomous difference equations. In particular he is interested in determining the behavior of the orbits of the system and their convergence to a specific fixed point. This is perhaps one of the most challenging problems in the area of discrete dynamical systems and difference equations. This investigation is particularly relevant for systems with many fixed points. For the entire collection see [Zbl 1415.39001].
