The focus of the book is the microscopic world, where the interactions of the constituents of matter are different from those we observe in macroscopic objects. The goal of the book text is to provide an introduction to the state of physics at the beginning of the twenty-first century. The text is illustrated by Mathematics software. The chapters in the book contain: (1) introduction into Maxwell's electrodynamics; (2) Dirac equation; (3) the idea of gauge invariance; (4) quantum mechanics for hydrogen atom; (5) the nature of the nucleus; (6) quarks, electroweak interaction, standard model, strings; (7) quantum nature of chemical bond; (8) the properties of solid; (9) quantum optics and computing; (10) biological systems; (11) fourth state of matter -- plasma; (12) some introduction into astrophysics.
