In this paper, the author proves estimates for the sum function of the modulus of certain bilinear forms involving normalized Fourier coefficients, arising from cusp forms over certain modular groups corresponding to cuspidal automorphic representations. The results can be viewed as a continuation and variation on the classical works of Hecke, Kloosterman, Salié, Davenport, Rankin, Selberg, Weil and Deligne.
