A system of three parabolic equations describes interactions of two species with smooth sensitivity functions responsible for chemotaxis effects and competitive kinetics of Lotka-Volterra type. Solutions of the initial-boundary value problem in bounded two-dimensional domains are shown to be global-in-time and uniformly bounded. Moreover, stabilization to spatially homogeneous steady states is proved.
