The two main theorems of the paper under review extend results of [\textit{J. Lindenstrauss}, Mich. Math. J. 11, 263--287 (1964; Zbl 0195.42803)] and [\textit{N. J. Kalton}, Collect. Math. 55, No. 2, 171--217 (2004; Zbl 1069.46004)], respectively. More precisely, it is proved that every super weakly compact convex subset of a Banach space is an absolute uniform retract, and that it also admits the uniform compact approximation property.
