A static spherically symmetric solutions to the Einstein-Vlasov system containing a matter shell located in the exterior region of the Schwarzschild black hole is considered. The proof is based on the study of trapped timelike geodesics of a perturbed Schwarzschild spacetime. Basic back-ground material on the Einstein-Vlasov system and the geodesic motion in the Schwarzschild exterior is presented.
