A sampling type method in an electromagnetic waveguide (Q2047284)

The author considers a sampling type method to image scatterer in an electromagnetic waveguide. As a first step, the radiation condition and the corresponding dyadic Green function are discussed. Then, the forward scattering problem is considered, and the corresponding data operator and its factorization are exposed. This factorization is used to design and analyze the sampling type method. The properties of the image function are then obtained, and numerical examples are included to describe the performance of the imaging method.
