In addition to the recent paper [the authors, Arab. J. Math. 10, No. 1, 157--174 (2021; Zbl 1464.42031)], the authors consider the wavelet approximations of a function whose first and second derivatives belong to a generalized Hölder's class by extended Legendre wavelets. As an application, some second order linear and non-linear differential equations are solved by extended Legendre wavelet method.
